Previously, Dr. Arcelay-Vargas taught in many sectors, from universities to corporate rooms. She served as a consultant to a post-secondary technical school in Puerto Rico and performed some administrative coordination. Throughout her educational career, Dr. Arcelay-Vargas has developed a continuing educational program for Allied Health professionals and a technical program for respiratory care. She coordinated a Certificate Program in respiratory care at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Science campus for 7 years, as well as coordinating an educational and preventative program for maternal and youth populations for 2 regions of Puerto Rico. Dr. Arcelay-Vargas offered clinical services as a registered respiratory therapist. |
