Career Accomplishments: Dr. Cheng started an endowment fund for medical missionaries for neurosurgery in 2006 called the Dr. Theresa M. Cheng Endowment for Medical Missionary Work & Medical Excellence and Compassion. While at Affinity Health Systems, she developed a new neurosurgical program within a multi-specialty group practice in a growing suburban community. The practice became a state-of-the-art facility, drawing patients from all over the country to tackle some of the most complex brain and spinal cord lesions. It was rated #1 in Spine Surgery by Health Grades in 2007 and 2008.
