ABOUT NICOLE DUCLOS
Ms. Duclos has had 10 years of experience in the legal field. She has been with the Allen & Overy LLP law firm for the past five years, where she serves as a Senior Associate, practicing international commercial arbitration, international investment arbitration and international litigation, with a special focus on Latin America. Prior to joining Allen & Overy LLP, Ms. Duclos served as an Associate at three law firms including Morales, Noguera, Valdivieso & Besa in Santiago, Chile, from 1999-2000, Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, LLP, New York, from 2001-2005 and O'Melveny & Myers, LLP, New York, from 2005-2006. Her educational background includes an L.L.B. degree in 1999, from the Universidad de Valparaíso, Chile, where she also was Valedictorian and an L.L.M. degree from Harvard University Law School, Landon H. Gammon Fellowship, in 2001. She was admitted to practice in 1999 from the Chilean Bar and in 2003, the New York State Bar Association. Ms. Duclos is a member of the Academic Committee of the Latin American Arbitration Association, the International Law and Practice Section of the New York State Bar Association, the International Law Section of the American Bar Association, the International Bar Association, the Young Arbitrators Forum and the ICC Task Force. She is the author and co-author of several journal articles and speaks regularly and serves as Arbitrator, regarding international arbitration and international investment arbitration, most recently, in Lima, Peru, Valparaíso and Santiago, Chile, Buenos Aires, Argentina, San José, Costa Rica, Washington, DC and Boston, Massachusetts. Ms. Duclos currently resides in New York, New York, where she enjoys fine dining, the arts and Karate.
