ARTHUR W. BOEDECKER RECOGNIZED BY STRATHMORE'S WHO'S WHO WORLDWIDE PUBLICATION

SYOSSET, NEW YORK, SEPTEMBER 12, 2011 – Arthur W. Boedecker, of Charleston, West Virginia, has been included in the Strathmore's Who's Who Worldwide Edition for his outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of unions/memberships.

ABOUT ARTHUR W. BOEDECKER

Mr. Boedecker has had more than 27 years of experience in local union organizations. He has served in many capacities with the Utility Workers Union of America, Local 270, including Chief Job Steward, Vice Division Chairman, Recording Self Human Rights Secretary as well as Activities and Benefits Chairman. He was responsible for taking care of benefits for over 1,200 members with union contracts and administrative duties. One of the accomplishments Mr. Boedecker is most proud of is his helping to successfully negotiate five different contracts for the union members, including a first contract at a nuclear plant. He also taught job steward training and conducted safety hazard mapping classes. Mr. Boedecker is currently working as a Control Room Operator for a generating plant where he has been since 2003. Prior to that, he served as an Equip Att. from 1984-1987, a PCO from 1987-1990 and a Roving Operator from 1990-2003. Mr. Boedecker received a Building Engineer Degree from Westside Institute of Technology and is a 3rd Class Stationary Stm. Licensed Operator. He currently resides in Brookpark, Ohio, where he enjoys coin collecting and fishing.
